An Act to amend the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898

Preamble.— WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898, in its application to the Province of West Pakistan in the manner hereinafter appearing;

      It is hereby enacted as follows:-

1.   Short title.— This Act may be called the Code of Criminal Procedure (West Pakistan Amendment) Act, 1968.

2.   Amendment of Schedule II of Act V of 1898.— In Schedule II of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898 (V of 1898), against sections 325 and 435 of the Pakistan Penal Code (XLV of 1860), for the word “Bailable”, the words “Not bailable” shall be substituted.
